My name is Kelly and I am a family advocate here at FPWC. I graduated from St. Norbert College in 2019 and have a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a Human Services concentration and a Spanish minor. I’ve worked a variety of jobs in the services fields including, ABA therapy, teaching , and advocacy. Prior to working at FPWC I worked as a bilingual family advocate for the head start program at a hispanic community center in Milwaukee.

I joined FPWC as a family advocate in 2022 when I decided to dedicate my work to advocacy for families experiencing, or at risk of experiencing homelessness. Throughout my career I have encountered families experiencing homelessness and I was struck by the lack of resources and care available to these families. I accepted my position at FPWC to work with families in the county that I grew up in, and to support families in our community to escape or avoid homelessness and reach their full potential.

I am passionate about social justice. I passionately support for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. I passionately promote ending the stigmas surrounding mental health, and creating an inclusive, diverse, and equitable community. In my free time I love to spend my time outdoors, read, or spend time with my loved ones.

Role at Family Promise of Waukesha County

My role at FPWC is to support families, offer case management, and connect families to available resources. If you have any questions about myself or my role at FPWC feel free to reach out.
