Our goal is to prevent families residing in Waukesha County from experiencing homelessness. We do so by providing utility or car repair assistance.

With more than 40% of Americans a $400 expense away from financial distress, the threat of crisis looms closely for too many families. Preventing families from spiraling into homelessness is an essential part of the Family Promise mission.

1. NEED ASSISTANCE WITH YOUR UTILITIES OR A CAR REPAIR?

Family Promise of Waukesha County has funds available to be able to help families, who may be at risk of losing their home, with utility assistance or a vehicle repair
2. ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?
For Utility Assistance: ​

Applicants must live in Waukesha County,

Be the parent or legal guardian of minor children,

For Car Repair:

Applicants must live in Waukesha County,

Be the parent or legal guardian of minor children,

Have a valid Driver's License,
-
Have current car insurance,
-
Have the vehicle registered in their name,
-
Be stably housed and have their name on a lease

3. HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?

The initial contact will be to set up a phone meeting with you to discuss your current situation
