WHAT IS OUR SHELTER PROGRAM?

Our shelter program provides a client centered, community based approach to assisting families with minor children obtain permanent housing. 

WHO WE SERVE

We serve any family dynamic with a minor child. If you’re facing uncertainty about where you’ll stay tonight, or soon, we’re here to walk alongside you. We help families navigate housing crises.

We work with:

  • Families with children

  • Pregnant individuals

  • Single parents

HOW SHELTER WORKS

Together, we’ll build a housing plan tailored to your needs.

 

This includes:

  • Connecting to community resources for food, childcare, employment, and more

  • Landlord tenant course on how to be a positive tenant 

  • Financial Literacy, work on a monthly budget 

  • Short-term financial help or relocation assistance

  • Case management and housing navigation
     

You don’t have to navigate housing challenges alone—we’ll help you understand your options and support you every step of the way.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You will begin by completing a contact form. A Family Advocate will reach out to you via email within 1–3 business days to:  

  • Schedule an initial intake appointment by phone  

  • Listen to your story and assess your situation  

  • Explore housing options together  

  • Determine the best-fit core program  

If eligible, you will be added to the waitlist. Participants are selected based on level of need and program availability.

HOW TO GET HELP

If you or your family are facing homelessness or unsafe housing conditions, reach out before entering shelter.

 

We may be able to help you avoid it altogether.
