Why is there a need?

Waukesha County is facing a housing crisis. A lack of affordable housing, along with a significant increase in rent, has left many families without the resources to afford housing. Over the past year, we have seen a concerning increase of requests for shelter and financial support to prevent homelessness. Addressing this issue is important because losing one's home is more than housing. It is about family stability, education, nutrition, and mental health. Homelessness affects the entire person and family. 

Our goal is to make sure families avoid the destruction that accompanies homelessness.

Your sponsorship will help individuals like Crystal and their families. Listen to Crystal's story below

In an effort to respond to the need, Family Promise is expanding our programming. As our level of programming grows, we are seeking partners who will provide financial resources that empower families to achieve financial stability.

Housing is the key.png

Family Champion
$100,000

This sponsorship will provide case management and supportive services to families in shelter and those who have exited shelter for 12 months ​

OR

Support the cost of six apartments for the Apartment Shelter Program (giving a second chance to 30 families.)

  • You will be recognized as a champion for families experiencing homelessness

  • The name and logo of your company will be on the footer of our website, included in our weekly newsletter and a monthly post on social media

  • Named as a partner for any events sponsored by Family Promise

  • Plaque posted in our building of your business as our

  • Three foursomes to the annual golf outing

Family Advocate
$50,000

​This sponsorship will provide rent assistance to 50 families ensuring that they avoid the devastation of homelessness.

​

  • You will be recognized as an advocate for families experiencing homelessness.

  • The name and logo of your company will be on the footer of our website and a quarterly post on social media

  • Plaque posted in our building of your business as our partner

  • Two foursomes to the annual golf outing

Family Ally 
$25,000

This sponsorship will provide temporary housing to 15 families in a new static shelter site.​

​

  • You will be recognized as a supporter for families experiencing homelessness

  • The name and logo of your company will be on a webpage dedicated to corporate partners

  • A feature article about your support will be included in our newsletter

  • Posts on social media three times a year

  • Two foursomes to the annual golf outing

Family  Supporter
$10,000

This sponsorship will help implement a transitional housing program to give families an extended opportunity to achieve permanent independent housing.

  • You will be recognized as a supporter for families experiencing homelessness

  • The name and logo of your company will be on a webpage dedicated to corporate partners

  • A feature article about your support will be included in our newsletter

  • Posts on social media three times a year

  • One foursomes to the annual golf outing

Family  Friend
$5,000

This sponsorship will provide car repairs for 10 families. Having a car breakdown can paralyze a family and become the beginning to spiraling into homelessness.​

Family  Neighbor
$1,000

This sponsorship will provide an average prevention payment, allowing a family to remain in their home.​

Sponsor a day at FP
$3,000

Sponsor all activities at Family Promise for one day. Your support will prevent homelessness, offer shelter and case management for that day.

 

  • On that day we will promote your support, the impact of your generosity and encourage friends and supporters to recognize your help​
