Hilary Smith

Hilary Smith joined the team of Family Promise of Waukesha County in February 2026 as a Family Advocate.

Previously, Hilary worked in both the non-profit and county human services settings, primarily in foster care and adoption. Her conviction for social justice and keeping families together has brought her to Family Promise, and she is honored to support families through difficult seasons in their lives. Hilary is a certified social worker and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s in Business Administration. She is trained in TBRI, a framework for those caring for children from “hard places”.

Outside of work, Hilary prioritizes spending time with her husband and spoiling her nieces and nephews. She loves animals and three cats: Cocoa, Bear, and Marbles.
