The mission of Family Promise is to "Help Families Regain & Retain Their Independence", this is important to me because some of my extended family members and acquaintances have been homeless or were on the verge of homelessness. Homelessness and the fear of becoming homeless is devastating to the parents and more importantly to their kids which is why this mission is so important to me.
In my time with Family Promise I have seen first hand how they improve the lives of families and their children. The sense of value a family has when they obtain a better paying job, can move back into an apartment or even purchase a home cannot be measured.
Although Family Promise provides shelter, they are not a homeless shelter. The strength of Family Promise is in the Case Management they provide to the families with whom they are working. Case Management helps families obtain better jobs, move back into an apartment and sometimes even purchase their own home. Another strength of Family Promise is in their efforts to prevent homelessness by working with families on the verge of homelessness to prevent that from happening.
Helping people out of homelessness and preventing homelessness is important to me. Because of this I personally donate to their mission on a regular basis.
Very soon I will be giving my year end donation to Family Promise of Waukesha County and am asking that you to join me in donating to this very worthy.

Why is Family Promise of Waukesha County important to me?
Several of my extended family members and acquaintances have been homeless or were on the verge of homelessness. I saw 1st hand how devastating this is to the parents and their children. It is the goal of Family Promise to put an end to this devastation and to help families regain and retain their independence.
How has Family Promise of Waukesha County touched your heart?
I have seen 1st hand how Family Promise has improved the lives of families and their children. The sense of value a family has when they obtain a better paying job, can move back into an apartment or even purchase a home cannot be measured. It’s also so very valuable to the children.
What is the strength of Family Promise of Waukesha County?
